The mobile ad hoc network is the decentralized type of network in which mobile nodes can join or leave the network when they want. Due to decentralized nature of mobile ad hoc networks, the routing is the major issue of the network. In this paper, various routing protocols have been discussed in terms of various parameters. The author suggested various improvements in the existing protocols which are represented in the form of table.
