Abstract:
The advancements in the technology have introduced various new techniques and methods to perform each and every operation in various fields such as in military biomedical recognition systems are used to authenticate one’s identity, in medical field personal health care systems are used to track the patient’s health records by storing his historical medical information. In personal health record system the health related information of a patient is saved to a centralized database which is accessible by doctors. The PHR utilizes the cloud structure to make it more reliable and efficient. But later on, various security issues had been detected in PHRs such as intruders enters to the database that is shared by the various users of clouds and perform data tempering hence various security algorithms had been used to secure the data. In this study we have proposed novel encryption approach to secure the patient’s information on cloud infrastructure. The proposed technique is combination of RSA algorithm and AES encryption mechanism. The result section depicts that the proposed work is quite effective to encrypt the data as well as capable to reduce the data size also.
