ABSTRACT:
A mobile ad hoc network (MANET) is a continuously self-configuring, infrastructure-less network of mobile devices connected wirelessly. Any node in the MANETs can leave or join the networks anytime. Due to this property a lot of attacks can communicate with the MANETs. This existing classical routing protocol like ADOV, DSR etc. does not have any mechanism to reduce the attack on MANETs. This paper, proposes a more secured MD5 based AODV protocol to reduce the Black hole and Gray hole attacks in MANETS.
